FORGE is a trading name operated by Andy Riley, based in Hull, England. FORGE is currently in early access (alpha) stage. References to “we”, “us”, or “FORGE” in these terms refer to the FORGE trading operation. References to “you” refer to the individual or business using the service.
We are not yet incorporated as a limited company. If and when the legal structure changes, these terms will be updated accordingly.
FORGE is an AI-powered quoting and estimating tool designed for trade businesses, starting with structural steel fabrication. It allows users to:
FORGE is a decision-support tool. All outputs should be reviewed by a qualified estimator before being used as the basis for a commercial quotation. FORGE does not replace professional judgement.
During the alpha period, access to FORGE is by invitation or password only. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your access credentials with third parties.
You must be 18 or older and authorised to act on behalf of your business to use FORGE. By creating an account and using the service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you agree to these terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access at any time during the alpha period, with or without notice, if we believe the service is being misused or if we need to take the service offline for maintenance or development.
You may use FORGE for legitimate business quoting and estimating purposes. You must not:
FORGE uses artificial intelligence to generate quote outputs. AI-generated outputs can contain errors. Material quantities, labour hours, rates, and totals produced by FORGE are estimates based on the information provided and the knowledge encoded in the system. They are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete.
You are solely responsible for reviewing all FORGE outputs before relying on them for any commercial purpose. We strongly recommend that all quotes are reviewed by an experienced estimator before being submitted to a client.
We do not accept liability for financial loss arising from reliance on FORGE outputs without appropriate professional review. The confidence scoring feature is provided as a guide only — a “high confidence” rating does not guarantee accuracy.
The FORGE platform, including its design, system prompt logic, pricing methodology, and codebase, is the intellectual property of FORGE. You may not copy, reproduce, or attempt to replicate any part of the FORGE system for commercial purposes.
Content you upload to FORGE — drawings, job descriptions, specifications, and documents — remains your property. You grant FORGE a limited licence to process this content for the purpose of generating quote outputs.
Quote outputs generated by FORGE belong to you. You may use them however you see fit for your business purposes.
FORGE is currently free to use during the alpha period. Founder pricing of £29 per month (locked for life) is available to early access users who sign up before the Pro tier launches publicly at £89 per month.
We reserve the right to introduce, change, or remove pricing tiers at any time. Where paid tiers are introduced, users on the free tier will be given reasonable notice before any change affects their access.
Payments, where applicable, are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store payment card details.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FORGE and its operators shall not be liable for:
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We aim to keep FORGE available and functional but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. During the alpha period, the service may be taken offline for maintenance, updates, or technical work without notice. We will try to minimise disruption where possible.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of FORGE shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify users by email or via the platform. Continued use of FORGE after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
